In 2001, Carmine, an Italian native with a love for New York-style pizza, set up a small stand, The Pizza Place, at the Super Flea Market in Melbourne, Florida.

In 2008, I, Josue Leonardo, took over the reins. Inspired by my training under Carmine and my experiences in Scarsdale, New York, I was eager to carry on the legacy of serving authentic, delicious New York-style pizza.

Over the years, The Pizza Place has grown into a beloved local institution, known for its exceptional quality pizzas. We have expanded our menu to include thick crust, consistently delivering a delightful variety to our patrons.

Today, The Pizza Place continues to serve our community at the Super Flea Market, now Renninger’s Flea Market, with the same commitment to excellence, quality, and authenticity. I am profoundly grateful for your continued support and look forward to serving you our best pizza.
